I will be interested to see the fallout from these emails. Just gives a glimpse into her personality and re-confirms for me that politicians, at least the current breed we have cannot be trusted.

Conservatives attacking each other to gain the power of the office do all the heavy lifting for liberals smearing each other. I first took notice of her during a 6 way debate when she was running for governor and she out classed all contenders with her knowledge and intellect. She seems to have dumbed down her public personna to gain mass appeal, but make no mistake she is EXTREMELY INTELLEGENT! This is evidenced by the fact that as governor of Alaska she had a higher security clearance than either Biden, Obama or McCain going into the election. Are you aware Alaska has the only full time National Guard maning missile defense systems and the governor is updated routinely on national security issues? I was again impressed when on one occasion I saw her angered and got a climpse into her soul through her steal eyes and intense glare. She is tough and smart. Say what you will, she is laughing all the way to the bank. I have lived here since before statehood and she is of the prepipeline era. It's a different kind of Alaskan and damn proud to call her one of us.

Don't get me wrong, I don't dislike her any more than any other politician. She just disappointed me during the who troopergate extravaganza when she lied on so many fronts. She came off as any other polictician which was a disappointment to me. Had she come out and said "yeah, I am Governor now and this trooper is a piece o crap", I would have had more respect.
